Arise
is an a cappella (all vocal) music group that consists of five
Christians from Texas. Our musical style is a mix of Gospel,
Jazz, Praise & Worship, and Contemporary Christian.
Simply put, we
love God, we love music, and we love each other. That's why this
group exists. And we thank God that He has given us the gift of
music so we can joyfully spread the good news of Jesus Christ and
His love for us. The music Arise sings is designed to encourage
Christians — both young and old — in their walk with God,
and to introduce non-believers to the Gospel in a relevant way.
We pray that God will use this music as an avenue to strengthen
and uplift those who hear it as much as it strengthens and uplifts
us.
Since
1988, we have sung in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennessee
for worship services, workshops, fundraisers, youth rallies, camps
and prisons. The group has appeared in concert with several other
groups in the past including Acappella
and AVB.
Arise
has four albums to its credit and
we are currently working on a new one.
